How we separate surviving evidence, later reception and our own analysis.

1. Scope and purpose
We publish accessible cultural writing about legendary birds, historical symbolism and their visual afterlives. We do not present folklore as verified natural history or merge distinct traditions for dramatic effect.
2. Source hierarchy
Where possible, articles begin with translated primary texts and dated collection objects. Museum records, institutional scholarship and peer-reviewed or scholarly editions provide context. General reference sources are used only for orientation and never as the sole support for a disputed claim.
3. Authors and responsibility
This developer edition uses the institutional byline Firebird Archive Editorial Desk; it does not invent individual writers or credentials. A production publisher must identify real contributors, obtain their approval and state who edited each article.
4. Interpretation and uncertainty
Uncertain chronology, contested identification and modern inference are named as such. We distinguish “the source says,” “museum catalogues identify” and “our visual analysis suggests.”
5. Images and rights
The packaged hero and social preview are original generated editorial assets. Decorative article covers are produced in site CSS. Future uploads must be original, licensed for the intended use or documented as public domain, with creator and collection credit where required.
6. Commercial influence
Paid or partner-supported material must be labeled at the beginning of the page and in every promotional surface that links to it. Commercial partners may not approve conclusions or suppress corrections. No such relationship is active in this edition.
7. Updates and corrections
Substantive corrections are recorded with a date and explanation. Silent edits are limited to spelling, typography and link maintenance. Readers can contact draviontalis@gmail.com.
